The Beginner Package consists of approximately 20 hours
of training over a 30 day period. This is for a very basic
start on a young horse, or a refresher(more info at bottom
of page) on a trained horse. The young horse can be
expected to turn left and right from leg cues supported with
a direct rein. He will still be very green and will need a
very experienced rider.
For a good foundation we recommend at least 90 days. 30
DAYS IS NOT RECOMMENDED and as such is only
offered at a higher rate than normal training.

period for a green horse. Any horse that

or any Premier package is eligible for the
Maintenance program

A refresher course consists of 1-4 weeks of
tune-up. When horse arrives you will be asked to
demonstrate the walk and trot on a loose rein,
also you must show a stop. Does not have to be
perfect but must be doable! If you cannot
demonstrate these basic cues your horse is not
eligible for a refresher and you will have to go with
one of the packages above. A Refresher Course
is NOT a Colt-Starting!

remain at the ranch but can be taken to rides and
events by Owner at any time. Group turnout only
at this time.
